I was born in Oklahoma, but am proud to have lived in Texas for most of my life. I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I moved to Kerrville when I married my wonderful, supportive husband and worked in bookkeeping until my son was born. He is an amazing big brother to his sweet little sister.
During my first pregnancy, I went from asking if they could start the epidural at 12 weeks, so I never had to feel labor pain, to studying the Bradley method and embracing natural childbirth. My son and daughter's births were somewhere in the middle. Each woman has their own needs and desires and I believe everyone should have the knowledge and support to make the best decisions for their families.
